spoilers, spoilers everywhere!

In case you missed it, there’s a spread in EW featuring more background info and new pics from Age of Ultron.  The cover is particularly relevant to our interests.

There’s also several identity shakeups on the horizon in comics land, with the post-Original Sin relaunch of some major titles under the Avengers NOW header.

SteveTonyFest chat

image

We’re holding a weekend long chat for SteveTonyFest. Stop by anytime, there’s bound to be someone in channel.

Special topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • Hickmanvengers Twelve Step Program with Magicasen
  • Tony Stark’s Goodbye Gillen Afterparty, hosted by Laireshi
  • Save the Last (and First) Dance for Steve, hosted by MemoryDragon
  • Favorites from the gift exchange
  • Fic recs and discussion
  • Big Bang progress (or lack thereof)
  • Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron
  • Hidden gems of the multiverse
  • Wibbly wobbly timey Steve
  • WTF is up with Original Sin anyway?
  • NO Tony. Tony, no.
  • Where can I find ______?

The chat is hosted on IRC.  If you have a client like mIRC or Hexchat, great!  You probably won’t need help connecting.

You can also chat without installing any software via these free web-based clients.  One thing to note, if you pick a simple or common nickname that is already in use on the server, you’ll be reset to “guest”, so err on the side of creative.

Kiwi IRC client Type in the nickname you wish to use. The channel name is #cap-im. There will be a little blue link that opens up the server and network info. Click on that and enter irc.dal.net as the server and 6667 as the port. Here is an example of what it should look like filled out.

WS IRC client  Fill out the box to the right like the example below.

Dalnet web client  Under Chat Now fill in your nickname and #cap-im for the channel.

SteveTony fic and art Bingo

The goal: Fill prompts to complete a line (row, column, or horizontal).  Feeling adventurous?  Try for a blackout (fill every prompt on your card).

-Fills can be either fic (500+ words) or art (no manips).
-Fills must be original and created new for the challenge.
-Use #stonybingo when posting fills to tumblr.

Head to the Cap-Ironman community to get your card!  You don’t need to be a member, anyone can play.
